I began my creative career studying Fine Art at Goldsmiths University, London, going on to explore various professional roles including visual marketing and event design. In 2018, I undertook a Masters degree in Performance Design at the prestigious Bristol Old Vic Theatre School. My experiences living and working in London as a queer woman, and my involvement in the Ritzy Living Wage Campaign from 2013-2017 have shaped my perspective as a designer, theatre-maker and human.
As for many Theatre professionals, the Covid-19 Pandemic has had a huge impact on my work in the last year, but I've been grateful to develop new skills and work in new ways where possible, from sewing medical PPE, to a socially-distanced Midsummer Night's Dream, to co-founding Whitecard Collective: a self-led group supporting fellow emerging and early career designers.
