PROJECTION DEVELOPMENT

As I developed imagery of Dido and her life in ancient Carthage, it became clear that projection would be a key aspect of this performance design.
I digitally produced kaleidoscopic style projection imagery (below) based on handmade collages I had created, influenced by the baroque music. These designs then informed the fluid, evolving set which changes throughout every scene in the Opera.
